Fireplace

The chimney was inspected by Matt Kastlunger of . For the (numerous) necessary repairs he recommended Paul Walker of who repaired the stack inside and out, from bottom to top, adding a spark arrestor. We were all surprised to learn that the wooden former had never been removed from the original construction. A new log set was purchased from (where else?) , on La Mesa Boulevard, and after Joe Scheneman, plumber (619) 549-9892, adjusted the routing of the gas pipe — the fireplace was safely back in action. A short while later we added the Curtis Jeré on the dining room side — after it caught our eye at , San Diego.
